Christa is driven by a desire to help you experience life to the fullest.

Christa’s passion for counseling began in 2004, when she began working as a professional mentor. She assisted college-age women with developing life skills and personal growth but wanted to do more to reach the deeper emotional needs she saw in others.

Christa went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois. She has experience working in schools, community mental health centers, private practice, ministry settings and speciaizes in the following issues:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Trauma
  • Adoption/Attachment issues
  • ADHD, high-functioning autism

Christa worked as the Head Counselor at Agape House, a therapeutic boarding school for at-risk teens. Christa has also worked as an addiction counselor for teens and adults, leading groups for all severity levels — including intensive outpatient groups and anger management. Her work as an addiction counselor also provided opportunities to do prevention work in Jr. High schools, and to receive extensive gambling addiction training. Christa is now a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.

She continues to pursue training and development in order to best meet the needs of her clients.
